Full-Time Dispatcher/Scheduler – Beaches Council on Aging (Dial a Ride Program)
Beaches Council on Aging is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and tech‑savvy Dispatcher/Scheduler to support our Dial‑a‑Ride transportation program for seniors and adults with disabilities. This full‑time, onsite role focuses on scheduling rides, coordinating drivers, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage TripMaster scheduling system and daily ride coordination
Perform accurate data entry and route adjustments
Support drivers and understand van operations/Parascope app
Coordinate quarterly vehicle maintenance and relief vans
Provide general administrative support
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with scheduling, dispatching, or computer‑based systems
Strong communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of the Jacksonville Beaches area
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Clean driving record (7 years) and ability to pass Level 2 background check
Preferred
Experience driving larger vehicles
Ability to lift to 50 lbs
Nonprofit or transportation experience helpful
No CDL required

Van Drivers - Immediate Hire
PART-TIME at least 2- 8 hour days (8:00 – 4:00 pm) a week and one Saturday every other month
Wages: $15.00/hr. to start

Drivers will assist seniors and individuals with disabilities, giving door to door service, wherever needed in the Jacksonville Beaches area. We operate Monday through Saturday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Must be available some Saturdays and at least two days during the week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive senior customers to their desired location in a safe and timely manner
Safely load and unload passengers onto and out of wheelchair lifts on vans.
Collect $5 donations on board and keep track of funds.
Inspect and monitor your van daily before and after each use.
Treat all passengers with respect, kindness and patience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be between the ages of 25 and 79
Safety oriented
NO CDL license required
Need experience driving large vehicles, customer service or other related job experience.
A Clean driving record must be submitted prior to hire.
Ability to handle physical workload to push wheelchair and passenger onto the lifts.
Must pass a background check.
Excellent computer skills to assist with scheduling is preferred.
Applicants’ commute should be no more than 30 minutes to our office in Jacksonville Beach.
